How Felleskjøpet gathered all purchases and took control of the entire procurement process

With Ole-Christian Isachsen, Systems Manager at Felleskjøpet

Felleskjøpet centralized purchases and the entire procurement process in one place

In order to gather the entire procurement process in one place and at the same time get a good data basis for decision-making, Felleskjøpet chose Proceedo.

- "We needed a system that makes it easy for people who make call-offs but do not make purchases on a daily basis," says Ole-Christian Isachsen, system manager in the group purchasing department at Felleskjøpet.

Felleskjøpet Agri is a Norwegian agricultural cooperative that operates as a retailer of equipment for agricultural operations. Since 2016, they also own the Granngården brand in Sweden.

Ole-Christian Isachsen is a system manager in the group purchasing department at Felleskjøpet, which has around 4,500 employees in total. With the help of Proceedo, they have consolidated their purchases and the entire procurement process.

The biggest advantage of Proceedo is that we get a foundation of data for the actions we might take, both towards suppliers and internally. It's data we didn't have before.

Putting the user experience first

When Felleskjøpet started the project to integrate Proceedo, they had three main goals. They wanted to involve people in the organization in the project, they wanted all the content in the platform to be in order the day it went live - and they wanted it to be easy to use.

- Ease of use was high on our list. We needed a system that would make it easy for people who make call-offs but don't make purchases on a daily basis. I think we and Proceedo have the same goal: we want to do the best for the people who will use the system," says Ole-Christian and concludes:

- Felleskjøpet's future with Proceedo looks bright.
