History of Proceedo

More than 25 years of experience in helping large organizations reach procurement success.

A vision to bring procurement together

The idea was better and unified purchasing, provide the conditions to follow procedures and rules, control over contracts, suppliers and costs. In other words, roughly the same ideas as today.

As early as 2000, Proceedo was a cloud solution, that was before the word "cloud" or "the cloud" was talked about.

Proceedo becomes part of Visma

Visma sees potential in Proceedo and acquires the company.

Proceedo's largest private customer, Nordea, and the first customer in the public sector, Kungsbacka Municipality, begin their journey towards becoming one of Sweden's most successful municipalities in terms of automation and efficiency, from demand to payment. Two customers that are still active and important.

Proceedo then became part of Visma Commerce, which meant a larger product portfolio from procurement to payment. The Source to Pay initiative made Proceedo take off to become the market leader in e-commerce for the public sector.

We become Proceedo, again!

In the midst of the pandemic, Visma is selling other products in the Commerce family. Focus now on purchasing to payment - one company, one focus.

Stefan Norr becomes the company's CEO and a large part of the Covid vaccine is purchased through Proceedo.

"When you succeed, we succeed": Full focus on Success permeates the entire organization.

We launch service levels through Success packages (plus and premium), start Proceedo Community, Helpcenter and start reviewing how to help suppliers correctly.
